Do I need special measurements for premium progressive lens glasses?
Yes. Premium progressive lenses use more measurements than basic ones: pupillary distance, fitting height, vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt, panoramic angle, and sometimes near PD. These "as-worn" measurements are what allow the lens to be truly custom. We take all of these when fitting you in our office.

Can I use premium progressives in any frame?
Most frames work. The key is not to go too small on the vertical length of the frame. You need a minimum fitting height (usually 14-18mm depending on the lens). Very small or shallow frames may limit which progressive designs are available though there are some “short” versions meant for these frames. We'll confirm compatibility when you choose your frame.

What if I only need reading glasses? Do I still need multifocal glasses?
If you only read at one fixed distance and never look up, readers are fine.
