Diabetic Eye Exams

Is your doctor telling you to get an eye exam? It's for good reason! We can see diabetic complications very early on

This is very similar to an annual exam but with a greater emphasis on the retina.
It's often asked to be done by a primary care doctor or endocrinologist.

The retina is the structure in the eye that will show blood or leakage that is from diabetes.

If the retina shows signs of diabetes then depending on the amount we will refer for treatment or monitor it for our patients
